  Descending to Halifax

Descending to Halifax, originally uploaded by Hali User.

Today I was supposed to fly to Fredericton. I had been hoping to actually land in Fredericton, but after circling the city for about half an hour with the landing gear going up and down, the pilots announced that there was a fault with the front gear and we were returning to Halifax. (Presumably, they have a bigger spatula there for cleaning up wreckage.) We landed without incident. You can see the offending nose gear reflected in the cone to the front of the prop. The aircraft was C-GGGA, a Beechcraft 1900D operated by Air Georgian.
